Elle Borders & Brandon G. Green share their C1 story

Greetings Company One family, it’s your
favorite married acting couple! Elle Borders and Brandon G Green. We are sitting here in Brandon’s dressing room at the Huntington Theatre where he is… I’m currently in “Sweat” by Lynn Nottage running now through March 1st. And I am currently in a world premiere, “We All Fall Down” by Lila Rose Kaplan. Yeah, I said world premiere! Also at the Huntington right now and all of this feels very
familiar for us because this is how we started our careers. Yes indeed, yes indeed. Running together as cast mates and friends in Company One’s production of “We Are Proud to Present…” Long title. Long title. We could probably still say it. You wanna try it? Sure why not? “We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa… …From the German Südwestafrika, Between the Years 1884–1915” Don’t tell anybody I messed that up. Don’t tell anybody. In any case, that show ran at Company One in a co-production with ArtsEmerson back in 2014 For both of us our professional
debuts and look at us now! Performing on the… oh, married! Yes. And performing on the
Huntington stage and together we would not have had this opportunity were it
not for the amazing people at Company One. Company One Theatre is a company of
life changers. They work with artists, they care about this city, they take
chances on the unknown and make us known. And I can truly say our careers would
not exist were it not for Company One. So: come out, support the Jam. Word! April 2nd. I’m gonna be there. You gonna be there. It’s gonna be awesome. I might be in tech. He might be in tech. But he’ll probably be there! Come out and celebrate 21 years of amazing theatre with us.
